How to upload creations to the Second Life Marketplace

Hello, it's me again, Chris21ce Resident from Second Life. In our last session I taught you how to build in Second Life. Today I will be showing you how to put your builds in the Second Life Marketplace.

When you create an object in Second Life and name it, you should then Take it into your inventory. From there, look for a button named 'Me' in the top left corner of your Second Life viewer software.

Click this button and then, underneath it, several options will pop up. Select the 'Merchant Outbox' option. Once you have done this, a box will open and you simply open up your inventory and drag your build into the box.

Once you have done this, click the button in the box named 'Upload to Marketplace' .

Now that you have uploaded your build to Second Life's Marketplace, all you need to do is log into the Marketplace website and go to the 'Merchant Home' option.

On that page you will notice a button called 'Manage Listings' on the left-hand side. From there you can highlight your build and create a listing for your object on the Marketplace.

Once you have described everything about your product and filled in all the details that are required, press 'Submit' and your product will be on the Marketplace!

It is strongly advised that you test the delivery process before you do anything else so that you do not cause your customers frustration. This can be done with the 'Manage Listing' option, which can be found under the 'Actions' arrow.

Until next time...
Yours Sincerely
Chris21ce
